Ethan Cole

Ethan Cole is an American singer-songwriter and frontman of Los Angeles indie-rock band Silver Saints, recognised for his conversational lyricism, melodic instincts and charismatic vocal performances. Born in 2001, Cole developed an interest in songwriting through guitar-driven pop and alternative rock. He was particularly drawn to musicians who could turn ordinary conversations, awkward encounters and complicated relationships into memorable songs. His writing combines playful observations with emotional vulnerability, frequently exploring the contradictions between what people say and how they actually feel. His vocal delivery reflects that contrast, moving between rhythmically intricate, almost spoken verses and expansive melodic choruses. In 2023, Cole began developing music with guitarist Miles Carter. Their collaboration established the foundations of Silver Saints, with bassist Noah Brooks and drummer Tyler Hayes subsequently completing the four-piece line-up. Together, the band developed a sound characterised by bright guitar riffs, melodic basslines, energetic drums and emotionally complicated storytelling. Their debut single, Conversation Dancer, introduces Cole's distinctive lyrical personality through the story of a charming but dishonest narrator attempting to talk his way through a failing relationship. As Silver Saints enter their debut chapter, Cole is focused on developing songs that balance infectious melodies with genuine emotional substance.
